The GOAT argument between Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, and Roger Federer was settled when Rohan Bopanna chose the greatest tennis player of all time.

Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, and Novak Djokovic have long been at odds over who is the greatest tennis player of all time. It has been anticipated recently that players like Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner will eventually reach that level.

Rohan Bopanna, a tennis icon from India, chose to conclude the discussion by expressing his opinion about the best tennis player of all time. “Novak Djokovic is the greatest tennis player of all time,” Bopanna stated in an interview with Clay. He has been incredibly consistent over the years. Novak has broken a lot of boundaries. His accomplishments are astounding. Who has influenced our sport the most? I continue to say Djokovic.

Currently ranked fourth in the ATP rankings, the Serbian has won a record 24 Grand Slam men’s singles titles, including a record ten Australian Open titles, and has been ranked No. 1 for a record total of 428 weeks in a record 13 different years. He has also finished as the year-end No. 1 a record eight times.

During the Open Era, Djokovic and Nadal’s rivalry has provided tennis fans with endless amusement. In the 60 meetings between them, Djokovic has won 31-29 overall. They are tied 2-2 on grass, with him leading 20-7 on hard courts and Nadal leading 20-9 on clay. The only player to defeat Nadal in each of the four majors is Djokovic.

Fans also believe that Djokovic and Federer’s rivalry is historic. In their 50 meetings, Djokovic has won 27–23, including 13–6 in the finals. They are tied 4-4 on clay, and Djokovic leads 20-18 on hard courts and 3-1 on grass. He is the only player to defeat the Swiss legend more than once in his most successful major tournaments, including four times at the Australian Open, three times at the US Open, three times at the Year-end Championship, and three times at the Wimbledon final. He also holds the record for most victories over Federer.

During his Paris Masters second-round encounter, Andrey Rublev broke his knee by repeatedly smashing the racket in a painful outburst that was difficult for onlookers to witness. Francisco Cerundolo defeated the sixth seed in two grueling tiebreaks, 7-6 (6), 7-6 (5), to suffer a difficult defeat. Over the course of the match, which lasted more than two hours, Rublev became frustrated and repeatedly struck his racket against his left knee, causing obvious damage.

Rublev failed to get a return over the nets early in the second set, which led to the incident

Rublev has already lost his temper on the court. He hit his racket a couple of times on the court earlier this year, shattering it

Rublev currently has the eighth and final spot in the ATP Finals, but his status is in jeopardy because other players might overtake him this week. Taylor Fritz, meanwhile, qualified for the season-ending event for the second time in three years. In Turin, Italy, where the Finals will be held from November 10–17, he will be joining Jannik Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz, Alexander Zverev, and Daniil Medvedev.
