🚨 Incident in Cottontown 🚨This morning, deputies responded to a tragic and violent incident at a home in Cottontown. A 17-year-old juvenile reportedly stabbed his father after the father shot the family dog for killing chickens.According to investigators, the juvenile heard the gunshot, confronted his father at the henhouse, and stabbed him twice. After a struggle, the teen went back inside, retrieved a handgun, and returned to fire multiple shots. The father was able to leave the property and get help. He sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was treated at the scene.The juvenile was taken into custody without further incident. Charges are pending as the investigation continues.Chief Deputy Tommy Greer stated, “The entire situation is tragic. Anytime a family dispute turns violent, especially involving a juvenile, it’s heartbreaking for everyone involved.”More updates as more information becomes available.
