Two Men Dead in Chattanooga Shooting; Police Investigating Self-Defense Claim
Chattanooga, TN – Two men are dead following a shooting that police say may have been an act of self-defense.
According to the Chattanooga Police Department, the shooting occurred after the two men arrived at a residence to confront the homeowner. Preliminary reports suggest that at least one of the men brandished a firearm, prompting the homeowner to shoot both individuals.
The men were transported to the hospital, where they later died from their injuries. The shooter remained at the scene and cooperated with responding officers.
